Unlike the last two generations, this TDI is not forgiving what so ever. When someone puts gas in the Common Rail (CR for short), all that is takes is cranking the engine to do damage. If the car is started, usually it will be driven until it stops running. What that means is gas is in the entire fuel system.
Hello, I have a 2000 golf 4 tdi 1.9 and has 270000 km in it. I've owned it for 4 years now and I have always used 10w40 valvoline all climate. I've been told that I should use 5w30 instad of 10w-40. In 10000 km it"s consumption is about 500 ml of oil. For 4 years it haven't has any problems but

Block the egr, remove the cat and map and youre already good for 150hp, and thats just very basic mods. These engines are VERY tunable. The wiring is reasonably simple, although the wiring for most of these kinds of engines is pretty similar. The v6 is not much more complicated. The v6 tdi is unfortunately not in the same league.

I would like to know if there are differences between cylinder heads of 1.9 tdi PD engines? Particulary between AJM tdi 115 and AWX tdi 130? I explain me, I've a 1.9 tdi 115 AJM remap stage1 in my Audi A4 b5 but I broke a connecting rod. I would like only replace the engine block and cylinder head by AWX tdi 130 models, keeping all accessories

I replaced a dead 2 year old VW Dealer battery that I went with because everyone said dealer batteries we best. Wasn't the case for me.
