1. Logicalist • 8 yr. ago. If you manually focus all of your shots, the 6d works great for sports photography. Otherwise, sports photography is the seconded worst type of photography the 6d is good at, compared to a 7d mk2. I would vote: Go 7d mk2, buy nice glass, then go fullframe next body upgrade. Or just save money.
